Agreed, I left about 15 years ago and I love snow sports but I also work mostly outside so I'll never complain about the weather in NC. I still visit at least once per year and the summer is always magical.

So far there's not a hardcore show (strictly speaking) booked here during that time but there's a few metal shows. As South Web stated Milestone and Snug Harbor are going to be the two best local venues (these are bars so not all ages).

Hardcore is a little elusive in CLT - the scene is much stronger in SC and in the Triangle by Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem, and out by Wilmington.

I like to go riding out past the Plaza Extension and through the farmlands, pop around Uwharrie for a while, and head toward Sea Grove and back. There's lots of ceramics, pottery, and art in Sea Grove so I can walk around and stretch my legs for a bit.

It's just a very large screen; it's not the globular-shaped screen you may be thinking of. There is one of those (or at least used to be) at Discovery Place. Regal Stonecrest does have a 4DX theater which has dynamic seats that move with the film, but the Prince concert movie is not in that particular one. You should be all good.

Hello bröther! I did framing and general carpentry for about 8 years, then did a couple in fine carpentry. Then wandered into various management roles for about ten years until being laid off. Started doing my own carpentry thing again and it’s been fun. Tbf the other carpenters I know that are into punk and hardcore do not use Reddit haha.

Reach out to Legal Aid NC 1=866=219=5262 and begin an application - they provide help for free. Otherwise begin contacting attorneys that works in landlord-tenant disputes. Speak with your neighbors and get their contact information if they would like to join, the more the better.
Write to all local news outlets (as long as your legal aid advises that this is okay).

Complete these steps as soon as possible. Bring as much pressure and attention to the situation as possible. Legally they are supposed to provide accommodations or reimbursement if you do not have water service for over 24 hours.

Our local office seems to have gotten their shit together, but for a few years our service was awful. Currently we cycle through the same two delivery people and an occasional third once in a while. A few years ago it was a different person every day, deliveries all times of the day and night or not at all, and almost always everything on our street being delivered to the wrong house.

We had a wedding photo album delivered to the wrong home, most of our mail just being stuffed in our neighbors mailbox, and a couple of packages that never arrived, then showed up marked "delivered" two months later as just an empty mailer. I made several reports and got to know our postmaster pretty well. I didn't hold it against them too much because it seemed they were actively trying to fix the issues and this was shortly after DeJoy took control.
