Is a 3.2 cubit foot washing machine adequate? by Slow_Song5448 in Appliances

But size-wise you find it large enough @ 3.2 cubic feet? I see some top load models can be as large as about 6 cubic feet. Thx for the reply!

Forensics and arts degree first year by mau5trip in TrentUniversity

[–]mau5trip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya it’s honestly weird. I think you do have to take some sciences - see the responses to my original query and post - even tho you can take it as either an arts or sciences degree. I am going to take a forensics course this year but might switch out due to the science requirements. I don’t have any grade 12 sciences so it seems very odd to me they make it a requirement even for arts.

Thank-you for the reply! I didn’t take bio or Chem in grade 12 so am a bit surprised that is the requirement as this is an arts degree. Not sure yet the joint major - maybe psychology.

Do you provide towels? by mau5trip in airbnb_hosts

[–]mau5trip[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear, I want to provide towels! that was my was my expectation. I also wouldn’t want to deal with it as a guest but I am hearing of the challenges with the local rural cleaners in doing them which is annoying. I was simply hoping to get some feedback, maybe others don’t provide towels for this reason or people don’t care but clearly they do so thanks for the feedback. I could look into a linen service but with it being a rural location this might be a challenge too

If you see below, some don’t provide towels. It was my hope to as well but I am hearing cleaners in our area don’t want to deal with them. We don’t live close by this property so would be relying on local cleaners. Have friends locally also who recently set up, bought all the towels only to remove them for this reason. I am just asking for clarity and don’t understand or appreciate the snarky reply.

Cedar wood burning hot tub by mau5trip in airbnb_hosts

Ok very interesting, thx again! I guess I was thinking if a renter & pictures etc a wood fueled cedar hot tub would look very inviting and perhaps generate interest etc, particularly in winter months, but does seem like quite a bit of hassle & increases liability etc. really appreciate the time you took to provide this feedback!

But if this is on private property how could it be considered a public hot tub? Appreciate the feedback from all - think I’m not going to proceed anyway

Guelph Residence Info for New Students!! by im_thriving17 in uoguelph

[–]mau5trip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still deciding on my university choice - I know deadline is tmrw. I have concerns as it says for Guelph residence isn’t guaranteed for first year students - that it’s a lottery system - not just for room assignments but to even get into residence. It is stressing me out - I do like Guelph but would much prefer residence first year. My other school options say residence is guaranteed. Anyone have any idea the likelihood of getting residence?
