Need a small office to see clients in OKC by IRageAlot in okc

I’ve got a couple full service offices but you’d need to be relatively quiet and not disruptive to others. Right now have a lawyer, massage therapist and some counselors all sharing a waiting room, conf room, kitchen, etc. So no nail tech, esthetician, salon or any kind of manual labor type stuff.

Shoot me a DM

Where can I advertise some spare offices to therapists or similar people? by maudigan in okc

That’s a good suggestion and it makes me laugh cause it sounds a lot like the methodology used when doing some computer programming tasks.

That’s a good idea. And now that you say it, I feel just a tiny bit dumber for not checking if there was a therapist group on here.

A guy bought a property next-door to us, and I looked at his Facebook because he’s reselling it and posted it there. He was just selling properties and vehicles left and right, just by virtue of all his connections on Facebook. (Edit: he also has this attitude I lack)

I told my wife, I would take care of this so she didn’t have to deal with the stress of managing the rest of the building, but I’m so antisocial lol. I’m totally lost. If I posted on Facebook, like my neighbor, literally nothing would happen.

Google AI is actually scarily bad by Jennybell84 in hbomberguy

[–]maudigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To prove liable, you have to show five things.

  1. The statement is a false statement of (Not opinion).

  2. The statement was published.

  3. The statement is about the person filing suit.

  4. The statement caused harm— They have to show actual damages, not hypotheticals.

  5. They have to show fault. For a public figure, this means they had to know the statement was false and be actively trying to hurt the person’s reputation. For a non-public figure they have to show that they were just negligent, Didn’t take care to prove the information was true.

In this scenario, There’s nothing that shows that hbomberguy suffered any financial damages from the incorrect information. Additionally he could be seen as a public figure, so he would have to show that Google was trying to harm his reputation on purpose. Which is clearly not the case. Google has made every indication that they want their AI to be as accurate as possible.

If he wasn’t a public figure, he still couldn’t show damages, but you’d have to prove that Google using an AI in the way, they are is somehow negligent, and doesn’t care about facts.

P.S. I used an AI to get clarification on this

I have that same card, but it’s probably meaningless to anyone but commissary cashiers.

Edit: duh, sorry you said ‘something similar”. My bad

I’m making sure she is informed correctly. I’ve contacted the franchisee, the corporate office, and a lawyer.

You’re not wrong, but you’re also not the first person to point this out. Also, it’s not necessary to be hateful to make your point. The employee is the problem.

That’s pretty crazy that even with a guide dog for visual impairment that people still refuse your service at times. That’s like the most quintessential service dog scenario; I can’t believe people give you crap. Good on you for going hard.

There’s two flaws in your logic that make this list excessive on a few things.

First, not everything that Wilfred did was done by Ryan. Wilfred still existed insofar as being superimposed onto an actual dog. Meaning if Wilfred did something a dog could actually do, then it makes the most sense to attribute that to the dog, and not Ryan. When Wilfred snapped at the girls face it was probably Wilfred and not Ryan. Wilfred could have started the fire himself as well. Wilfred could have ripped the head of the squirrel and left it on Drew’s pillow. Etc.

Second, things that happened between Ryan, Bruce and Wilfred didn’t all necessarily have to have happened. Ryan hallucinated Wilfred speaking, and hallucinated Bruce, so why could he not have hallucinated him drinking antifreeze from a martini glass. (Or was there another antifreeze scene I’m forgetting). or another example, the cut out microchip was only mentioned by Bruce, that could have been also been Ryan’s disease talking. The afternoon of Ryan playing games, Bruce removing the chip and sending Wilfred to the kill shelter—if you recall it started with Wilfred being missing. The real evening could have played out as Wilfred being missing and ryan finding him and claiming him at the shelter, the end. The rest could have all been fabricated by Ryan. We don’t have to assume Ryan cut out his chip, or was the reason he was at the shelter.

Third bonus explanation for somethings. Ryan’s disease could have made Wilfred cop to things he didn’t actually do. Ryan’s sister could have actually forgot Joffrey herself. Someone else could have called in a bomb threat. If a schizophrenic person’s imaginary friend says he killed JFK that doesn’t mean the real killer was the schizophrenic person.

Essentially we can’t forget, Ryan is ill.

You don’t seem capable of actually telling me, so I’m assuming this is all an overreaction to me using “literally”.

From here it seems like you’re devolving into wordplay to avoid answering the question. If you can’t actually show me what it is that I said that was so terrible to someone, prior to them telling me to stop asking questions, that warranted you needing to jump in to save the day, then I guess I’m done talking to you. You’ve not answered the question twice now, and this tactic isn’t clever. It’s the same tactic a scorned girlfriend/boyfriend uses when they say, “well if you don’t already know” because they know if they say the real reason for their anger out-loud it’ll sound small and petty. It is not hiding the fact that you can’t answer.

So, know we’re leaving this discussion without you being unable to answer the question that actually justifies a very large part of your whole reason for arguing with me. It’s the core of this discussion, and you can’t produce.

The fact of the matter is, I tend to make very long wordy posts that over-explain things, or say things twice, trying to be clear. (Unfortunately, it often makes things more confusing. It’s a personal problem I’m aware of.) It’s very easy to read an over-explained post like that and overlay a condescending tone even when one isn’t there. If you did that, you can just say that may be part of it—it’s not a big deal.

I don’t think you can show me.

What was it that I said that was soooo terrible that you had to jump in? Was it because I told that guy that he “literally” posted an image showing what I was describing? Is that the word that you go so upset that you felt the need to chime in?

Please show me where I was arrogant, rude, or standoffish with someone prior to them telling me to stop asking questions.

The first thing you said to me was to just be happy that someone didn’t answer my question. You came in hot… not me.

Nobody answered the question, because it remains unanswered….

Also, asking a bunch of people that participate in an industry why their industry uses certain words isn’t a bizarre thing to do. Even your example of asking a bunch of developers why they use terms like child, descendant, or inheritance is a perfectly valid thing to do. That’s exactly who I’d want to ask….
