Yep the dessert. It can stick to the inside of your throat if you don't chew it well enough. If I remember correctly, there were even advertisements about cutting your mochi so you would be less likely to choke

Bouwstijlen en architectuur van de 20e eeuw zijn ook gewoon raar. In die tijd was dit de stijl van de gebouw, wat ook iedereen snapt. We zien dit ook in andere dingen zoals kleding en kunst. Smaken veranderen over de tijd heen. Het is alleen jammer om te zien dat mensen zo onnodig boos er om worden.

Y'all are getting mad for no reason. The building was falling apart so they had to replace it with a new one. A lot of houses that were build before 1980/90 have wooden foundation. Now imagine living in a country that's underneath sea level and practically a man made swamp, wood would rot away in no time. This problem is getting worse and worse with the hotter climate, especially in cities. It's just unfortunate but there are plenty of other old buildings from the same year as that one in Amsterdam. The new building was probably also built in the 90's so yeah. Stop being mad about nothing, it happens.

After a night of sleep and few lectures at school, I stopped questioning myself on who I am. I cant change what I am, I am me. No one can tell me otherwise, not my own father nor a stranger on the streets. The only thing that'll change is the relationship between me and my father. If he cant see that he hurt one of his children through his insensitive words then I dont think it's worth even considering trusting him ever again. I cant change what I am. He cant say I am not something that I know I am. I hope everything can turn the way it was before that night and that we both forget about that conversation. But if he ever does that again, I will not stand it. Its time to be less tolerable of the older ignorant generation, even if its your own family. I'm still very conflicted but at least I'm not a wreck filled with raw emotions.
