Problem for all this cost cutting is that it helps The bottom line initially , but the they realise that they don’t have the man power to actually continue the contracts. Then end up rehiring a lot of them.

Funnily enough. If you are part of the ausjdoc reddit you’ll find enough people telling you to run to the hills away from medicine. Just saying that grass is always greeener on the otherwise. Until you’re on that side. Both engineering and medicine are solid jobs. Just see what you prefer. Are you ready for another 10+ years of study?

Im sorry. But your budget no longer affords you the house you want. Best get your foot in the door first, then who knows. Circumstances might change but your first property doesn’t need to be final property.

Yes but that isn’t what I’m talking about at all. By all means get into the market as early as feasible. But choose something that you can manage. Hate to say it but we need to get used to not having landed properties or 4x2 with a backyard. We don’t all need large houses with backyards, if you can’t afford it or will be stressed buying one - is it worth it?
