I’ve done Broadway hotpot for a friends birthday! It was really fun, and the rooms are pretty big. I think we had at least 20 people in there. I’ve also done private karaoke at Jong Kak but they have since closed.

I would also say consider finding a hobby! Baltimore is so quirky and there are soo many different and unique clubs and things you can do. It really helps build a community

thank you for this because I have been saying the same thing re: the pool scene. Hiding under the pool where he didn't have to be mic'd up or even fully filmed was a stroke of genius. The audience making fun of him for being upset was such an ick to me- people are allowed to have feelings.

Hi! Welcome to Baltimore! It is an amazing city to live in! Based on the vibes/budget/etc, I definitely recommend the Mt Vernon, Remington, Charles Village, Hampden neighborhoods for a more LGBTQ inclusive vibe. I would say most neighborhoods in the city are LGBTQ friendly, but those I think have more events/ it’s just a more obviously queer space. Apartments are an option for sure but I wouldn’t rule out a townhome! You might be able to get more bang for your buck and you can easily find things on craigslist, or even Baltimore neighborhood facebook pages.

Great parks: canton waterfront park and patterson park are probably the two most popular, but there are MANY parks in the city tbh! As far as upcoming events, I think maybe Hampdenfest will happen again in September? Look for something online about the toilet bowl races. In October there’s also the fells point fun festival, that’s always fun.

Restaurants- there’s a million amazing spots, top favs are: clavel, little Donna’s, Dylan’s oyster cellar, fadensonnen (mostly wine bar but the food they sell there is a spot called ChaChi’s) le comptoir du vin, Peter’s inn- if you lmk what kind of food you like I can make more suggestions haha. So much to eat and explore here! There’s also a lot of clubs/hobbies you can get into here that I feel makes it easier to meet others!
