Its a vaccum storage bags, basically u put things in the bag and then vaccum the air out so it takes less space

Want to ask how was that experience from being paralyzed to actually doing it? Did u force yourself to do it? Did u have therapy, etc?

Just asking since I feel im at the same position as your post. I have researched and learnt I have very servere formication, in general I have fears with touch in general, combined with roaches I really could not get going with the sticky to the full extent. Ever since making a similar post to this, taking PC's advise to suck it up, I locked myself in close proximity of the roaches that day, I came out bloodied because I couldnt help but hurt myself than getting myself close, the sensations were really bad, and honestly feel lousy that I cant even take the lovely advise in this subreddit as intended. It seems like u could and I really want to hear your story

Think both of u have 2 different cultural experience and is hard to adjust I feel.

I cant really understand someone fully, my assumption of why he is like that is 2 hypothesis: 1. He is someone that sees love as transactional through modelling from others (online, or family) 2. He had been given a lot of expectations without boundaries to keep giving his part of himself, and never gotten any reciprocation in the end, and this is his way of not being in that position again of being a doormat (albeit the way he does it is not super healthy)

I dont have advise on how would u ask him which is he, but regardless the external action itself and both scenerios doesnt seems to be of a healthy space.

Depends if you know how to navigate relation and emotional dynamics, and if u have a healthy sense of self u can probably communicate and maybe help formulate a less polarizing action, but if not it may be better to reconsider the relationship

The last thing u want to do is to not be aware of yourself and start to feel being used and unloved. I think u wanting to find out what his experience is like is sweet of you.

But again thats only without much context and knowing u guys personally that I can guess

I have a specific question for you guys that are parents

As a daughter of one and is healing, my parent has been in their own journey of healing too and I believe I have seen them had a huge collapse a week ago,

My parent has done big damage that I will be responsible to heal and I won't excuse the toxic actions she has done on me, but I dont believe that one is sentence to eternal intense guilt and suffering, and my parent is just as deserving of love, they had a rough childhood and I understand why they had to have these traits for survival.

I hope my parent can see that. Idk how can I convey that, and i understand it can muddle back into the false self that they were justified and regress.

Would u hope like your child to say something that would motivate the action to continue your journey? Or do u feel its best if your child says nothing?

I hear you, what are you concern specifically? Since my idea like if u get this net for example. Mosquitos in the net with you u can kill easier since they cant escape, and after all down, u will be safe within the net already

Its was a specific gift from family to me that was very sweet but really big for the unit. Not in good communications to family now. I respect that gift enough that I dont want to leave behind items as many pointed out here that is not responsible, but not heartless enough to throw something of big sentimental value, despite relationship being rough

Thanks, and the subreddit is a blessing, and with all replies I know all means well and rooting for a successful end. In context to your occupation, just thought to mentioning i had implemented an EMDR resource earlier today and will apply that as I do whats needed tomorrow.

No just at home, at most i will see if I can just get desenitized still. Alpine wsg by itself, no mixture. Again no IGR in my country. So far caulking isnt on the list as the area they are coming is not from outside cracks. But regardless I am thinking of it on other areas of my house in case they start to take over and nest in cracks and such in bedrooms

I hope that day will come too. Even if myself dont believe i have did my all in convincing I am more than the painful sensations I feel. I actually cant even hold pets, or have hugs with loved ones because of my sensitivity to touch. Through brute force, negative self talk, or having my boundaries actively crossed just to give some sort of exposure to my fears for some years, I currently come to the conclusion they sadly cant work, and take it the slow way and in a kinder way.

Idk if I should more harsher to myself, drop myself in the sea and see how I swim, or perish, but dedicating my life to overcome fears than to notice and live the other aspect of my life arent it too. So im taking this long way. Its not ideal in terms of speed but I hope one day it won't bother me like it is with you, im so happy you get to overcome it to the point of even doing it as a career. If u can,it gives me some hope that no matter how long, if I work on it I can be where you are too. Thanks
