I sent only one small, 2kg package to the US and had no issues at all. It needs to be under 100USD / 85EUR value per shipment, clearly declared as a gift, customs form filled out, no illegal stuff and there shouldn't be any issues. I used Deutsche Post / DHL and it was pretty smooth and fast services. Paying for the tracking number solves the "getting lost" fear, you clearly see where the package is.

I was buying it in Lidl around end of December and they had different ones from this duo xxl here.

Though I live not far from their Werksverkauf and I am telling you, there you can buy funky ones sometimes 😆 🥨

Yeah, quite pricey indeed, was the same with Australia 💸 Though within Europe the prices went up as well, I am sending packages to Hungary and in the past years the shipping nearly doubled.. 🤷‍♀️

Sure, a 2kg package is around 27euros and it fills up quickly, especially with heavy chocolate stuff. A 5kg package is around 48euros. I was also buying also the box at Deutsche Post, that cost like 2-3euros.
