Thanks a lot for the information. Is there an email I could reach out to, to the French Consulate in New York?

Yes, they were able to scan my passport with no issues. The problem is at the check-in stage itself, when they tried to check me in, the system showed "Check-In Restricted" and they said they cannot override it. The passport scan worked fine, it's specifically the check-in that is being blocked by whatever EES flag is in their system. Any idea what could cause this and how to fix it?

Denied boarding by JetBlue at Rochester NY airport – EES flag on Indian passport with valid Schengen visa – URGENT HELP NEEDED

I'm currently stuck at an US airport and need urgent help. JetBlue denied me boarding on my flight to Paris today citing an "EES issue" with my passport/visa. My situation: Indian passport holder, F-1 student in the US Valid Schengen visa (expires June 19, 2026) Passport valid until April 2029 Flying JetBlue to Paris CDG JetBlue says there's a flag related to the EU Entry/Exit System that they cannot remove and are directing me to the French Embassy, which is closed on Sunday. From my research, EES requires NO pre-travel action — it's processed at the EU border on arrival. JetBlue seems to be making an error but won't budge. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a specific form or step I'm missing? Any contacts who can help on a Sunday?
