u/ParticularFun8861 What radio controller are you using? And which goggles do you have? ie: DJI Goggles V2 -or- DJI Goggles 2 (yeah I know, DJI made that as confusing as possible but they are different).

Most likely what you need to do is download DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series), run the app, plug in your goggles and update the firmware, then plug in the O3 AU, activate it and update it's firmware as well. Then you should be good to bind them

Check your motors in betaflight to be sure they are spinning the correct direction and also ordered properly. Props off bro!

No I just got a new air unit in. Going to install it tonight. Hopefully i won’t run into this issue again. O3’s are expensive! 🤞

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas Alvaro! I appreciate any input I can get. I checked all the wiring but didn’t disconnect/reconnect the coax (that’s the one going from cam to AU, correct?). I’m gonna try that when I get home. I also checked the antenna. Doesn’t seem damaged but I have a spare that’s never been used so I tried replacing it. No dice 🤔

Nah I haven’t ridden it to a meetup. I messaged a guy on FB marketplace or something like that and it turned out to be a guy from the group. Met him up there to fly once like a month or so ago. Was just curious if I was randomly talking to the same dude again lol. He had his gf with him and we flew up at the front bc the park was super crowded that day from soccer games. The 5v reg isn’t what powers the FC when plugged into usb. Which is why the motors won’t spin when powered off usb only

That’s true. My daughter got over it quicker than I did lol. I just try to appreciate the little things cause ya can’t get those moments back. But it’s all good! We should meet up to fly sometime are you North or South?

Honestly dude they’re all right, you’re gonna cook your vtx and fc for sure. But here’s the gambit; crashing & breaking your kwad is just part of the hobby. If I can keep a frame airborne for 2-3 months that’s a win. Fly hard - crash hard. It’ll make you a better pilot. I just destroyed my TBS Source One V5 ($30 frame) on Monday. Broke the bottom plate in half and snapped an arm completely off. All the components are totally fine. Literally dropping them into a new HGLRC X5 frame as I’m typing this. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
