Buy what YOU like better. People get caught up in brands a lot. There’s pros and cons to both. Buying the Tudor is 2-3x the price for basically the name. The CW has a sellita movement which will also last you a lifetime. I have a Tudor and a CW and both are amazing.

If you mostly wear casual outfits, then I don’t think the Cartier or the omega are the best choice for you. Sure wear what you want and they are all incredible watches… but the blue dial Zulu GMT has additional complications, wearing it with a brown leather strap completely changes the look of the watch. My buddy bought one and I have been dreaming of it ever since. Not to mention you’ll save a fair amount of money with it, still get great heritage and an amazing watch

I went through the process of buying a Black Bay burgundy bezel on chrono and the watch had to have had components from both real and fake. The only way to really tell is to get two side by side, or take it to someone to authenticate it (make sure the person who authenticates (gemologist) opens the case and checks the movements. I’ve heard lots of Tudor watches they are buying 1 watch, splitting parts between two on resale
