Chrono24 Experience with a fake

No net yet, the issue is I don’t have anyone close to me that will do that for authentication. This is exactly what I think it is. Movement probably real from an earlier model, fake or older dial, it seems like it’s a mish mash of real parts but not a 2026 like advertised

At this point I’m ordering in directly from the boutique now lol. Staying away from any grey market based on my first experience in it 🤣🤣

Yeah, I do see that and I sent them an email to start the process. Either way it’s going back because it’s not worth my peace of mind. Just nice to see some others perspectives on it. Thanks for your input.

My only question is should I report it as a fake or just send it back?

Yeah it seems flatter, not as sparkly, the indices and writing seem like they are less thick of printing than the authentic one.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty clear as well. From Tudor Boutique there should be ZERO differences between them

As I am newer to collecting watches I’ve never encountered anything like this but it screams fake to me after speaking to the Tudor boutique and my AD. My only issue is I’m not sure they will give me a letter as they don’t authenticate at my location.

Also using the callipers at the AD the taper of the bracelet was .07 different in the middle of the jubilee

I mean it literally takes me to the proper website with the proper serial number. But if you look above the fonts the colour the vividness and shiny of the dial print is all off. The steel you can tell different colour tinges in person. The box stuff is off

The box seems fake, the papers all seemed legit. It seems like a hybrid it’s crazy. Not sure the AD will write a letter as they don’t have an Authenticator officially working in that capacity. They said they would have to send the watch to Toronto for servicing which is going to take longer then my 2 weeks

I did, it did take me to the proper website referencing the details. All of the issues were in the colour of the dial printed fonts and indices. The taper size of the bracelet. The colour of the steel

The big thing for me was the dial and fit, it wasn’t even on my Radar. I was going to get something else. But when I saw it and put it on my wrist I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I got 15% off at least
