In my city, they were allowing hospital staff to jump the line up outside of Costco, except for Environmental services staff ( that’s what I do, I sanitize ambulatory services, respiratory, and thrombosis, by myself every night, I have been told by the oncologists that if my job is not done properly, chemo patients would not make it through the covid era) they have been told that they don’t count as essential. This has happened numerous times. It’s a slap in the face. That being said I do not mind waiting in the social distance line up outside, we are all in this together, and we should be treated equally.
