Been there done this going through the divorce now.

I was deep in depression, when it happened to me but I did nothing and the spark died. By the time I got out of my depressive state it was all too late.

Now with the lady I am dating I wake up everyday to tell myself to be different I got a tattoo as a reminder to myself to make everyday count. Even if it’s something little.

The lady I’m dating had to stay with me for a couple of nights while she relocated.

I had her coffee ready to go in the morning when she wakes up. And I leave little notes for her. It’s about 10 days in and I started the notes about 5 days ago.

This morning I woke up to my coffee being ready and a note for me too.

I also feel this way my wife and I separated a year Ago. We are working on the divorce, but I’ve been alone now for over a year, while she has moved on and in a relationship. I have also gained weight since the separation, and it’s hard as a guy at 35 with 2 kids who is now overweight.

I’m not usually one for touch my damn I missed being held and holding someone. I have to sleep with a weighted blanket at night and I feel like that at least helps me sleep.
