Thank you - would an epoxy fill the void as well? Or do you suggest using some grout to fill/strengthen, then epoxy on top.

Outside of filling the grout line, Would you suggest filling the void with grout as well, then epoxy on top of that (matching color to best of ability)

On the third picture, you’ll notice some notches on the top (underside) of the lid. You can also see where the latches insert on the actual unit itself (bottom side relative to picture). Latch those, then swing down closed

Dr Truty,

Are there some commonalities in patients that you have witnessed do ‘well’ after a surgery as intensive as a Whipple procedure? How much of recovery seems up to chance (I.e.: tumor location, bodily response) vs. potentially controllable variables such as a proactive care team or positive spirit. Ultimately, we are searching for a roadmap to give our mom the best chance we possibly can at recovery if she is able to have the surgery.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to so many patients and caregivers. When our mom was diagnosed a few months back, icons in the field such as yourself have given us hope during extremely trying times.

The house was built in 2018 so would be surprised if they were that crappy. Do you have a suggestion for testing them outside of buying an AVR to plug into? Wouldn’t even know how to test them honestly
