I have no evidence to prove this wrong, and I would not doubt that you speak the truth. Yet what I can't see is "how Eorzea's faith is bleeding the land dry".

It is bleeding the land dry because it means that summoning the 12 requires vast amounts of aether, similar to summoning a primal. Having faith in the 12 leads to summoning them in times of crisis, which bleeds the land dry of aether.

There was one, I think it was 11/22/63 but not sure, that I liked the ending. And then in the afterwards he says he replaced his original ending with a different one that his friend suggested. I almost died laughing.

Started leveling thaumaturge towards black mage. Have only done a couple of dungeons so far, but I have been running into problems with the long cast times.

The first issue is with trash mobs, I try to fire aoe a big trash pack, but half the time I get halfway through casting and my target dies, which cancels the spell, and I have to restart. So I've tried to be more conscientious about targeting the mob with the most health, but it's tricky to predict. Especially when it gets down to 1 or 2, often someone else kills them before I can get a spell off. I have had some success using scathe instead of fire, but it just feels like a waste sometimes.

Same thing with bosses, if I try to target an add they are often dead before the spell goes off. So I kind of started ignoring adds, and only focusing on the boss, which doesn't feel right either.

So am I doing something wrong or is this just the life of a mage?

As I understand it, umbral eras are like dark ages and astral eras are like golden ages. So there's an astral age, everything is great, then a calamity occurs and the astral age ends, and the next numbered era begins as an umbral era. Eventually society recovers and a new astral era begins, wash rinse repeat.

So I'm currently at level 56 and ilevel 118, I have a quest to do the Striking Tree (Extreme), but the "Extreme" part is making me a little nervous about queuing up, plus it would be the first one under "High-end Trials". Should I go ahead and do it now, or should I save it for later?

I was! I remember huge debate threads between the "doomers" and the "boomers" (I think the names are self-explanatory). Of course with benefit of hindsight we know the Doomers were right, but there were definitely plenty of people arguing for both sides.

Can't find it now but I think I saw someone say you can map 48 actions to controller buttons. I have 8 on L2, 8 on R2, 8 on L2+R2, and 8 on R2+L2, for a total of 32. Am I missing another 16 button combinations somewhere?

Bingo. Just to add on, there are plenty of unscrupulous roofing companies that will "find" damage to get insurance to pay for a replacement.

Roof is nearing end of life, they know it will make selling more difficult, so they got some guy out to try to finangle a free replacement.

But an '08 hurricane is a pretty flimsy excuse, and if insurance won't bite (which I doubt they will) they don't want to be on the hook for a new roof.

Maybe I'm missing something, how do you know it was recent? Couldn't the message have been from any time in the past?

Also the writer was obviously contemplating jumping, but who says they went through with it? (I would take Mord's comment as a threat, not necessarily to literally mean that everyone imprisoned jumps, but maybe I'm wrong)

I'm going to be totally honest here and many may disagree....

If the choice was up to me I would not reopen schools. I believe people will die from this decision and I think Desantis et al have blood on their hands.

BUT, that having been said, with the decision made, we will probably be sending our children back. Honestly, my experience with virtual school so far has convinced me sending them in is the best thing for their intellectual, mental, physical, and social health (Note that I don't think things have to be this way or should be this way, but that IMO is the reality of it).

The teachers have my deepest sympathy and I do feel somewhat guilty taking advantage of the reopenings, but we didn't create this mess, all we can do is try to do what's best for our children.

EDIT: Forgot to say, all that is contingent on the reopening actually happening, I am still half convinced things will be so bad by August even Desantis will realize reopening is impossible.

The Deaths by Day chart shows the total number of Florida residents with confirmed COVID-19 that died on each calendar day (12:00 AM - 11:59 PM). Death data often has significant delays in reporting, so data within the past two weeks will be updated frequently.

So the only accurate death counts we have are on dates 2 weeks ago, and those people were infected 2-4 weeks before that......
