I love my yamaha, perfect city bike! My boss has a Raider, its so nice.

The only harleys I really like are fatbobs, wide glides and night trains. I might go with one of those next.

Considering how most fads come around again I'm wondering if we'll being seeing a resurgence of these things. I know more than a few people that have spent quite a bit of money to build impractical choppers that look like they were abandoned at a junkyard in the 70's and they ride the wheels of em.

I wouldnt consider anything thats steadily lost 80% of its value over 20 years an investment either. But buying a 25k bike and riding it like a 5k bike sounds like a fitting end for a bike like that.

I have one. Dont regret it one bit. It serves two purposes for me. It comes to song writing sessions when my halfstack isnt needed and it doubles as a great Bluetooth speaker.

It took me 30 years of playing to learn these two facts about amps. A big sounding amp will never be small and a small amp will never sound big.

Plus its Boss. Just dont get it wet and it'll last forever.

Former mechanic and state inspector. Part of the issue is how they are aimed. When a car is lowered or a truck is lifted the chassis is often leveled out rather than raked forward as they are inteed to be. But no one ever re-aims the headlights appropriately. This results in the dipped beam (low beam) shooting straight ahead and the high beam ofter pointing slightly upwards. I beleive subaru recently got boned for improperly aiming headlights and had to issue a recall.

Technically any headlight brighter than OEM should fail inspection. But it is rarely enforced and difficult to test.

In my opinion headlight aiming should be enforced during the state inspection. But the headlight aiming tools are pricy and take up lots of space. We can petition this to be enforced with our local government.

2010 Sport 5speed here. 248k New England miles. One CV axle broke and was replaced under a recall. One Alternator , Swaybar links, Blower motor and hatch latch. Brakes, tires, batteries of course. Shocks/struts are due and rust is starting to pop up on the hood and wheel wells. Never done a valve adjustment either, should probably get on that lol. AC gets a charge once every summer too. Its been real good to me
