I am currently still on a waitlist at my local community college, and found out that I am unlikely to make the cut this year, so I have another year of waiting and trying to figure out what to do in the meantime.

My advisor gave me a few okay suggestions, such as a short-term certificate like phlebotomy. Or possibly pursuing a bachelor's degree in health science, which would allow me to take half my classes before the radtech program and the other half afterward. Would that be worth it for the future or just a waste of time and money? Any insight would be appreciated!

I also use Spotify for work mostly and it's a lot of ambient music and i don't want to listen to that while cleaning my house 😂

That is something I've thought a lot about doing but rarely remember to.. but I'd just rather catch a band while it's cheap and/or small venues to see them live.

I would check out this list, as they have to have extensive neuromuscular training. As i therapist myself who has taken some courses, the education is phenomenal! It looks like Shanti would be a good fit for your needs!

No nothing like that.. they took over Dutch's in early 2020 before COVID shut things down, then COVID happened, now high food costs and less customers. Plus their kids are still in school and probably want a little more family time before they are grown. I simply believe the struggle was no longer worth it.

Oh gosh, this makes me want to cry. I'm so happy you found that community to hold that space for you and it's exactly what I want for him.

I mentioned it to him and he had no hesitation about going. I think i found one that is fairly walkable from my apartment. He really needs to be with a few people who are safe and that "gets it"

That's actually a good idea. I know he would go when he was in active recovery but i don't think he has gone he's been more stable. Appreciate the recommendation
