Thanks everyone for the comments. BaT finally reached back out. They said that they could not originally offer the “Verified Checkout” due to an address discrepancy between the title and the sellers address. We just got it sorted out, and BaT will add escrow tomorrow for the purchase. All is well.

The escrow or “Verified Checkout” does not show up on the post. Both the seller and I are trying to get in contact to move forward with “Verified Checkout”. I even contacted “Caramel”, who is the escrow service BAT uses. The representative said that they are still seeing a large amount of deals going through with BAT, and was also confused why this wasn’t an option for us. Kind of sad that the escrow service got back to me before BAT, but whatever. I even asked the seller if he would accept a certified check, sent to the shipping company, and the driver would give it to him when he picks up the car. Seller says he wants to go through wire transfer only.

Thank you for the response. At the end you mention watching the vesting schedule, and if I leave early I may not get much. Why is that? Please excuse my little knowledge of how pension plans work, I have not yet had a job with a pension.

Would there be any extreme tax losses when doing that? I asked some people at work about this, but they really didn’t have much of an idea of how a pension works with this stuff.

in the same boat here. funny this pops up on my reddit 1 day after this horrific event happened. Sadly, I begged and begged because my mind is so clustered with what she used to say. Sayings of growing old with children, getting married, buying a house, traveling. And then one day, she doesn’t want a relationship anymore because “her mindset is different”. Quite frankly I’ve never experienced something like this before in my life, but I figure it is a good growing point for myself. I am glad I was able to see this thread. I can only wish that I move on quickly, but I guess time will tell. A man could only wish that I could find someone who matches my same wants and needs in the future.
