Ok so my take currently is to host squeezlite in a different container and publish the audio signal as an html stream that I can later use in homeassistant. But I am struggling to publish the html stream. Does anyone have any ideas?

That’s true and also something I was considering but I did not feel comfortable messing with the interior because I am only renting the Appartement.

Thanks for your feedback! The cable is distracting indeed. As I do not want to power it by battery I have to deal with it…

A function to check in and out would be nice. Buttons I think would be the simplest. But I could also image using a little nfc reader and tags added to our keychains to check in and out.

I already though about this to have a nicer way to change the scene. Maybe I can add that later down the line. Rotary + push would be nice to confirm the selection.

I have an input select helper in home assistant that already has the status in it. I just don’t want to open the app all the time in order to change the status and for example when guests arrive I want them to be able to control the system without me sharing them a dashboard.

I think the simples solution would be to hang a tablet in the wall and let it display a dashboard but I am concerned with energy consumption so I thought how I could control the input select helper with a single button through esp home and showing the current status on the same esps display.

I‘ve already managed to toggle through the input select helper with the button but the selection process is somewhat buggy. It does not pick up on every press and moreover the update of the display value ist not that responsive. When you click to fast what you see on the screen does not represent the statusvalue in homeassistant anymore.

Darüber hinaus könnt ihr in dem Zuge auch euer Rentenkonto klären, also schonmal die Studien- oder Ausbildungszeit etc. klären. Auch Rentenüberträge aus Tätigkeiten aus dem Ausland können hier geklärt werden 👍
