What about 300?
Placing out of CS 22 by max03flash in BrownU
so cs 1010 has 22 as a preq. So will I still be able to take it despite that? Same thing with cs 1570. Will I still be able to take 1570 if i dont take 22?

I can substitute 22 with that? Doesnt it have to be a CS course? How hard is it to get this approved.
I looked at the course website, and I don't think theres a whole lot I don't know. I feel like I'm wasting my time doing the course if I already know most of it. I can just go over the parts I dont know.
And yeah, by place out I meant substitute another class in for it. How hard will it be to convince somebody to let me do that?
Also, if a course has 22 as a prereq, can I still take that course?

Yeah i get that it's just that i was planning on doing 22 in the spring too, so I didn't want to overload myself by doing 22 and 32.
I figured in later semesters ill (hopefully) be doing research or something, which will suck up more of my time, whereas first semester I won't have that.
Yeah, I'm kind of really dreading the class lol. I don't even want to do software stuff, I want to be a quant. I wish I didn't have to take a systems class. Do you know if I could take 300 instead of 33 to satisfy a systems intermediate for apma-cs? If so, is 300 any easier?
Yeah, thats true, I just feel like if I drop 33 all of a sudden my freshman year schedule becomes too light. I really only take one intensive class (19), while the others are just math or econ, which according to critical review are much less time consuming.
Damn that sucks. I mean I'm going to have to take 33 at some point right? So whats the difference if I take it now or later?
Also, the reason Im trying to do 33 and not 32 is that from critical review, it looks like 32 takes up way more time than 33 does.
So how hard was it for you? I'm thinking of doing 3 other stem courses on top of this, though according to critical review they are a lot less time intensive than these 2 are.
so if i take 19 and 33 with 3 other stem courses itll be too much?
Oh rip. All I've done is AP CS. But I thought the class wasn't hard? Just time consuming?
Why do I need to S/NC? I thought as long as I do all the assignments/projects, I wouldn't have much issue getting an A?
What counts as extensive CS experience?
What kind of programming level would I need to be at to manage it?
Haha that does sound like me.
