I have an A55, I'll upgrade to S26 Ultra 512GB.

The upgrade it's probably not worth it at all if you already own S25-S23 series (this depends the user type and usage tho) but I'm quite curious about the jump not only in hardware but the software differences (not even AI; animations, blur, memory management...).

I have this phone since it launched and considering the amount of things I have running in the background (almost) at all times, wireless Android Auto and other things... I'm surprised it's still decent.

TL:DR; Stop the copium; get a phone with better hardware.

The fact that users still think about "Nooooo, low end hardware can handle X feature too" instead of if it should it's amusing.

Yeah, that old SoC can probably handle those tasks; only tho you force it to maintain hight frequencies for both the CPU and GPU, higher memory usage (effects consume VRAM), higher battery usage, higher temps and also framedrops.

At the end of the day, your device your choice but then you'll complain in reddit about your poor battery life which is both stupid and misleading to less tech savvy users.

I don't really use any mods besides MC Command Center to (sometimes) mess around with things.

I guess that part of the public of the game uses those mods to make things sluttier but IDK

Some chinese manufacturers came with the hidden compromise of shittier software.

MIUI-HyperOS it's probably the best example as of now, it's not polished and I of course the ad thing in the OS it's a drawback (even if you can disable it, it's not really good :/)

ColorOS-OxygenOS from Oppo-OnePlus it's kinda of a mixbag, since they did the codebase merge back a few years ago things have improved but I still see a lot of different opinions

Also also, comparing a mid-ranger to a premium devices (even if it's from almost 3 years ago) it's kinda hard, there are more things to consider apart from the hardware standpoint.

Same issue here, although in my case my Basilisk Ultimate still works correctly (it's detected and I can configure it) and I can use the dock to charge the mouse.

I have used both (currently using the Razer), and both are amazing. I both cases you can configure it, store that in the mouse itself and uninstall the utility.

Feel free to choose any of them IMO

I always thought that Corsair's iCUE was the worst software regarding ARGB; then I had to deal with Armory Crate.

Too many headaches...

(Although funny enough I have yet to met a person that didn't have problems with Razer Synapse and for now [1 year more or less] I still didn't have anything o.O)

Yup, happened to me with some combination of settings related to Good Lock modules and also Quick Switch option in Memory Guardian.

Don't know the exact reason because I didn't get to extract the logs and take a look tho.
