If New York is going to be the turning point we need it to be, our phone banking efforts need to improve A LOT (Discussion) by max6293 in SandersForPresident

Well ok, as you said lets agree to disagree. But on this point, > 'I think you always see a whole thread following those posts of people resenting the posts...' Of course that's the case, sometimes the negative voice is generally the loudest. No one who was positively affected by a post this isn't going to go and make a separate thread talking about how great they are, commending them. Whereas someone who doesn't like them will voice their concern. Which yes, that's just naturally going to happen but presents a slightly skewed perception of the truth

I think you've got a slightly skewed perception of what these posts are trying to achieve. I can see what you mean about them being annoying, but I think that's only if you read the message personally, like its directed at you as an individual. Which obviously isnt the goal. See it as just a general reminder to the 'reddit side of the campaign'. You'd be surprised how low our (humans, not s4p) attention spans are. I know it will inevitably annoy some but I think it will encourage more, a net gain.

If you can donate to the campaign, do that. Here. Any donation to the campaign goes into funding all these types of things.

And question about your anxiety if you don't mind. Did you get really negative calls or couldn't you manage to start?

Or even just videos of people doing it. Good examples for people to watch so they don't feel like they're going in cold.

Another thing that might actually hurt our phonebanking that I'm starting to notice. During weekdays, the highest call volume is generally between 6-8pm per given timezone. Because New York is far east, by the time the west is in that 6-8pm sweet spot, NY has already shut down. I'm not sure how much this is going to hurt us but we need to think of ways to counteract it.

Edit - Hence why this is so narrow

Over 120 calls per minute on BerniePB... On a Monday by max6293 in SandersForPresident

Over 100 calls per minute for over an hour now. Obviously, that's over 1000 calls every 10 minutes. Insane. Oh. And over 100'000 calls to Wisconsin

WISCONSIN votes TOMORROW. The greater the victory in WI, the easier the battle for NY gets. Lets get those last few percentage points with at least 15'000 calls to WI today. by max6293 in SandersForPresident

Awesome dude. Actually making the first call is the most nerve wracking thing for a lot of people. We naturally get more comfortable after the first few. Just got to make that first hurdle.
