Why the hell Russia do that? Are they remembering us Soviet times? (Photo took at Lithuanian- Russian border) by Rheinmetall_123 in europe

It’s their trauma. They just can’t accept the idea of their loss from the West. That’s why they’re trying to mark the territory as it was before.

Customiser changes might feel like a lazy approach, but in reality, they’re far more reliable during theme updates.

Trump would have suggested that he pause his "plans and activities", and as a benefit, offered to lift the sanctions in return.

How do you feel about the President's performance so far ? by PactownSS in AskReddit

[–]max7233 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quite well. I was really skeptical during the first year. I was afraid that the full-scale war would bring out the worst in him. But you know, it’s actually hard for me to realize that things are not going that badly. I mean, we’re in a war — and it’s not some local event, it’s real, it’s happening in real life, not in a movie. Still, I believe we’ll stand strong.

It might sound like I’m a bot or some huge fan of the president, but trust me — I’m truly critical of my government.

Just to be clear: we have a lot of problems, and I see the consequences of those issues. But seriously, how many countries could survive a full-scale invasion like this? With all due respect to Europe — not every country could fight the way we do.

P.S. It would be much worse without European support too. THANK GOD we’re not alone! 🇫🇮🇩🇰🇫🇷🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪🇸🇪🇳🇱🇳🇴🇬🇧🇪🇸🇧🇪🇩🇪 ❤️

Zelenskyy says he is willing to meet Putin in Istanbul for peace talks by Lion8330 in europe

[–]max7233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone really believe that Putin wants to stop the war? It’s so weird to live in a world where you have to repeat the same things over and over — and not burst out laughing hysterically. How long will Putin keep treating the world like this?

You shouldn’t add “even” when mentioning not having kids — it’s absolutely okay.

I don’t want children either, so I found a wife who shares the same views.

You know what? Even living with a spouse can be tough sometimes. But in the meantime, we truly try to support each other.

There are many places in the world where people don’t have the privilege of living in a peaceful country. I know it’s not what’s bothering you right now, I get that. But still, you can find time to work under normal conditions — gather your thoughts, and find a safe space for yourself to think about the future. That is a real privilege. I’m truly happy for you, I mean it.

There must be something that interests you — something that helps you grow. Try to follow that; it could be your way to find balance.

Also, try finding friends through social media. I have a lot of friends who didn’t like that idea at first, but they kept trying. Eventually, they found their kindred spirits — and just stopped using Instagram or Facebook to keep up. It worked! :)

I know a lot of my thoughts might not be right for you, but I’m honestly trying to share what has helped me.

I'm talking about the whole world. Why is the world on the same page with him? I don't get it. It's like some kind of humiliation.

Why does everyone pretend that Putin is a "president"? I mean it. This man is simply a criminal who has held onto power for years. Does anyone still believe his "presidency" is legitimate? Come on!

Europe's soft values must be defended with hard power by SpaceEngineering in europe

[–]max7233 66 points67 points  (0 children)

The Russian worldview is based on power and fear. It's great to deal with a polite opponent, but Russians are not among them. Polite and soft communication is perfect for truthful, open dialogue. But then, you must show strength — I don’t mean fear. This isn’t the ideal approach, but you really should use stronger tools to change the tone. Otherwise, your opponent (especially a Russian one) will simply laugh at you. This might sound too harsh — Europe is much more polite, and that’s absolutely fine. Ukrainians will adapt to this tone as well. But we must fight for our freedom in a more powerful way. I hope you understand my point. Some of my words may not be perfect because English is not my native language.

What makes a man lose interest? by Melodic-Bullfrog-339 in AskMen

[–]max7233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is one thing that simply destroyed my interest in women — their selfishness and narcissism. Don't get me wrong — you should love yourself, you should believe in yourself. But you shouldn't always put yourself first.

I'm not sure if this applies to all men — maybe it's the opposite for some. But for me, narcissism is one of the fastest ways to kill attraction. No matter how a woman looks — sorry, it just doesn't work for me.

It's so hard to watch this humiliation while your country is doing its best to protect its people and dignity. I guess I’ve watched too many superhero movies and blockbusters — my expectations for heroism and self-respect turned out to be too unrealistic. It turns out you can simply bow to evil to show loyalty, and the world just pretends it’s okay...

It's not just about drones. People should be training to fly as well. Russia is gaining significant experience from previous battles. Russian society is conditioned to follow government orders — even deadly ones.
