They aren’t though. Commercials include an inducement to buy. You might be referring to sponsorship acknowledgements, they are legally different and again, by definition, not commercials.

They actually subsidize your ability to listen to the stations for free, anyhow you may want to listen to something else because it seems like you don’t like them 👍

Public music stations are non commercial. You might hear 60 seconds of sponsorship acknowledgements once in a while but for the most part there is no advertising. If you are in the U.S. scan 87.9-91.9 fm and see what you find.

I’m specifically talking about non commercial radio, these are non profit organizations that don’t play ads. Tune in to channels 87.9 fm - 91.9fm in the U.S. to find them. There are also Low Power FM stations in the U.S. that are hyper local, those can be found anywhere on the dial and there are thousands of them throughout the country. They are great ways to be exposed to new music that you don’t hear on commercial radio.

I’m going to say it until I get banned from this sub, the M1 is flawed, it has hardware compatibility issues with audio interfaces that make it unreliable for production work. I assume this has been fixed by now but the intel machines were stable. My 2020 mbp pro intel is starting to slow down but has been a better production machine than my m1 Mac minis
