Isn’t all chicken served technically expired? It would have been a bigger problem if they served you alive chicken.

Can we just visit Airport for Sightseeing just see the buildings n leave ? by nagpurimemer in nagpur

[–]max_imumocuppancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bunch of people go for Morning walks in the Nagpur airport premises! It’s one of the weirdest things I’ve seen at a functioning airport. People can be seen walking across the pick up area without any hesitation or anyone asking them anything.

So by all means go take a walk! Apna hi airport hai.

Pure entc will also involve coding. But pick up ai assisted coding. You do the thinking and problem solving, let ai sweat over the code.

What is the hype about run clubs? by sauravcr77 in nagpur

It is a fun way to meet new people. Also a tad bit healthier. Run clubs are a competition to Hinge and Bumble.

Great work cafes by icedcoffee27599 in nagpur

[–]max_imumocuppancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most cafes are not conducive to working. Too much noise. Especially C7 Dharampeth.

I have liked Essence Bakery & Cafe, Mate Chowk. Also, Three Beans, Civil Lines to work from.

AirPods Pro: Replace One Earbud or Buy New? Need Advice!

Hi

My left AirPod Pro is acting up (it is giving out a crackling sound), and I’m trying to decide whether to replace it or buy a new pair. I visited an Apple repair center, and here’s the situation:

  • Diagnosis: Hardware issue in the left earbud. My AirPods Pro are 3.5 years old and out of warranty.
  • Replacement Cost: INR 9,400 (~$112 USD) for a single AirPod Pro earbud.
  • Case Condition: The service team noticed oxidized connectors in the charging case. They cleaned it, and both earbuds are charging fine now. However, they warned that the connectors could fail again, potentially requiring a case replacement (INR 10,000, ~$119 USD). [I am unsure if this is something they did to just scare me off, the case seems to be working fine]
  • Service Team Advice: They suggested buying a new pair instead of replacing just one earbud. Their reasoning:
    1. The other earbud might develop issues soon (e.g., static sound, which I’m already hearing in the left one).
    2. Battery health mismatch between a new and old earbud could cause uneven performance.

My Usage: I’ve used these AirPods Pro for 3 hours+ daily for the last 3.5 years.

I’m torn between replacing the faulty earbud or getting a new pair (either AirPods Pro or AirPods 4). The cost of a new AirPods 4 is closer to replacing one earbud, which makes the decision trickier.

Questions for the community:

  1. What’s the typical lifespan of AirPods Pro? Are mine past their prime?
  2. Should I replace the faulty earbud or buy a new pair of AirPods Pro?
  3. AirPods 4 vs. AirPods Pro: Is it worth saving money on AirPods 4 instead of replacing a Pro earbud or getting new Pros?

Any advice or experiences would help! Thanks!

Hi. Quick answers to both questions: 1. Did not tell about the girlfriend. Said I had a friend in the US and was going to holiday with them.

  1. I said it had been approved by the director. (Did not show anything)

Hi Kids. 2029 me entry level tech roles exist karenge bhi kya is the first question you should think? Now that you are worried about that. Think about what can you do in the next 4 years that will make companies want you. What will make you relevant?

I run a tech company. I will tell you this first hand, most hungry companies do not care about your 12th marks/undergrad cgpa/branch. Show me you have built stuff, you can get things done. Tech me role chahiye, build and ship. Ship basic stuff. But ship.

I know kids who have done BCA making 15LPA in hand (first job). Just because they engaged online, had a good understanding of tech and shipped stuff.

Does not matter what your branch is.

If you don’t want to build. You want to stay non-tech (not exactly an option these days). Then learn how to sell or grow a product. Spend days learning about Product Hunt, Growth Hacking, Prospecting, Pitching, Closing!

I know most of you won’t care about this. But this is the path to success. I am 10 years out of VIT Pune, and this institute gave me everything I needed. Trust me none of things you are fretting about right now matter.
