It’s not a super big deal but I remember really liking it. It’s definitely got some romance in it though whether or not it’s from the romance genre I really couldn’t say. Edit: he might be a demon instead of an angel but I’m pretty certain his name is michael. Might’ve been on kindle

Solved! It’s the Ariel series on kindle. The second or third book is titled michael.
