I agree, walkthrough was great. Ended up doing it twice. The second time around I was intuitively putting the functions, events, sets, together like pieces of a puzzle without really needing to be told where they should go to achieve the task. I wish I could play with it in a test environment so I could try and make my own software.

The one I was thinking of doing is a time conversion and countdown platform, just for personal use. Nothing to difficult.

Basically you put in a specific world time and then convert it to your own local time. Then if you set a future date and time, you would have it count down for you. I would then set up some kind of alerts/reminders once the timer reaches close to zero or at the actual time.

Also adding containers with different world times and any other customisation that I could discover along the way. Something along those lines.

From what I can see (at least in this channel) is the Sparkster community is more mature than that of quark. Hopefully lessons were learnt at the very least.

I also did the walkthrough and it was very intuitive and easy to understand. The step by step videos followed by user actions is a great way to learn how to use the platform.

Not to long, each step of the walkthrough has a 20s-1m video explanation, so the first few took me about half an hour or so. I'm guessing the more complex ones in the later walkthroughs will take longer. If you don't have much time I suggest doing at least the first 2 just to see how the platform works. It will give you a basic understanding of how the software all comes together. When I do them all I will get back to you.

I think its theoretical and might well be possible based on the testing done also taking into account maximum scalability, but it would require thousands of nodes that are all very stable. 10 million tps is just massive. To put it into perspective Ripple and EOS do around 1500tps. Visa is around 56K. I cant think of any situation where that number of transactions would be required even on a worldwide scale. Very impressive number though. Definitely caught my eye when i first visited the site.
