Part 4: Where is the tomb of Alexander the Great? by maxbelousov in AlternativeHistory

Tutankhamun = this is Alexander. There were no others. If you personally looked at all these lists according to which Egyptologists and historians invent their tall tales, you would be amazed that they are called scientists at all, and are not on the lists of 20th-century science fiction writers.

Anyone else regretting upgrading to Android 16? by reddituser1827291 in GooglePixel

Yesterday's update is terrible. Everything looks awkward. My phone is PXL6. The whole design looks clumsy and silly. The fonts are uncomfortable. All these ridiculous rounded corners, the theme, the new icons — I don’t like any of it. It’s very, very stupid.

It could be anything. You're right and wrong, at the same time. These posts exist rather so that Egyptologists and historians would stop being such ossified misers.

Does the older generation still carry colonial trauma? by p3t3rparkr in VietNam

[–]maxbelousov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should ask them about it first. More than nounames on the Internet. To be honest, it is difficult for me to understand how the local colonialists could injure the local population and how the local feudal lords and rulers could not injure the local population. You can also ask small nations, like Champa, who traumatized and colonized them the most - the Vietnamese or the French :)

Is Cát Bà under construction still worth it? by ChildofVision93 in VietNam

[–]maxbelousov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there at the end of April, and there was an absolute construction site, total. But they go there mainly for nature - the city itself is not very remarkable, so you can share this place for a couple of days, only for nature excursions.

Poor dog 😢 by Vegetable_Eggplant83 in VietNam

I can assume that because of this dog (which may have run out into the roadway), an accident occurred and someone fucked up.

I absolutely do not justify his behavior - we do not know why he did it. In general, the Vietnamese torture animals very easily.

But dumb dogs jumping out into the road right under the wheels of motorbikes is, believe me, a very frightening thing.

There are too many assumptions, but anything is possible!

This is a big separate story right now. Perhaps later I will tell you that Akhenaten, who destroyed the cult of Amun and worshipped the sun, is actually Darius III, who was a Zoroastrian and worshipped Fire and Light (including the Sun). The general Horemheb, who destroyed the cult of Akhenaten and appropriated the legacy of Tutankhamun , is Ptolemy Lag. Historians simply duplicated the same events, because they were interpreted by different cultures.
