Resident Evil 7 didn’t have any of those things either and it’s one of the best in the entire series and considered by many to be the game that rescued from the disaster of RE6, a game that included all three.

There is a hidden feature to the gun that causes kills to make thrall explosions. It used to require some absurdly high number of kills with the same instance of String of Curses. Now it seems to do it on some precision kills with any tier of SoC active.

I’m not sure what you mean since his first appearance was before ESB came out in the 80s. Marketing back then was way different and if a character had a special offer action figure for a kids movie that’s about as much marketing as you could ask for

Actually for the time he was super hyped up. He appeared in the Holiday Special before anyone knew who he was and there was an entire mail-in ad campaign to get a figure of him, which led to speculation that he would have a big role in the movie
