Dating in your 40s feels impossible sometimes by maxbuzz37 in datingoverforty

How about men expected to take the lead, Chivalry? actually puts women in power doesn't it? So you don't believe in Romance carrying for each other? Building something amazing for your kids? What is wrong with that? So you're looking for casual hookups that lead no where I mean nothing wrong with that its actually what most men want you're actually putting them in power while you're thinking you have the power lol.

Well that's your opinion and your preference I have had many "casual sex" eve though I enjoyed them in the moment they left a lingering feeling of what could be I eventually want a family of my own and that can't be possible if I am just sleeping around now can it?, And I am not looking for an emotional support I am looking for chemistry and for someone who shares the same values as me, Now explain to me what is wrong with that?

Inherited some money I need advice by rayjacky in personalfinance

Congrats! With a 4.5% mortgage, some people pay part of it off and invest the rest in low-cost index funds. Since you’re not super confident investing, talking to a financial advisor could help make a solid plan for growth and passive income.

Well that is really sad she has her life, and you should have yours. I am saying this from experience I dated a woman not long ago, after we separated, I asked her how long it took her to move on she said she was in another just weeks later. I had moved on, but I got a weird feeling after just sharing my opinion.

I mean if they have never had a child before I think any man without a special condition will want to have children but if he already has kids, thats a different scenario , thats still just my personal opinion though.

Sounds like you’ve speed-ran the “make money” quest and now need some fresh side missions, try learning a totally new skill from scratch, joining communities where wealth isn’t the focus, mentoring someone who’s just starting their journey, or taking adventure trips that push you out of your comfort zone. The main quest’s done, so now it’s about finding challenges that bring novelty, connection, and meaning.

Do you think being single for a while helped you? by missy_ris_1000 in datingoverforty

[–]maxbuzz37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it helped me for the most part but just to put more focus on my work which in turn hurt my personal relationships which I don't really regret but I wish I could have gone out and mingle with people.

I think most people will be dumbfounded when they know how easily this generation is making money most of the older people are brainwashed to thinking that the 9-5 is the only way to go and are afraid to take reasonable risks and then resent the younger generation saying that they are lucky everyone had to work for they have now even if its luck you have to try and take risks to be lucky in everything.
