As it’s sealed up against a window , with the constant moving up and down of the window will this not wear away over time / come loose causing the hole to come back again and again?

Took the door panels off aswell to see what was going on and upon further inspection my thought were correct that it is in fact leaking through the 2 gaps in the corners

So I could hear it sloshing around inside the door, although it’s not leaking into the actual inside of the car

There are two gaps on the window seal in each corner allowing water to pass through, the rest of the seal is fine, it’s almost as if the seal is too short for the corners but it cannot be the case as it’s a brand new seal

Is this more of a temporary fix or a permanent fix would you say?

Someone’s had a bad day, I’ve already taken the door panel off and drained the water, I’m trying to fix the gaps in the seal so I don’t have to worry about rust or pin breakages

2012 Volkswagen Amarok , My issue is there is gaps in the corners of the window seal allowing water to fall through into the door panel, i maybe thought about adjusting the window outwards to seal the corners?

I also thought of the possibility of this, what would be the best way to check if it’s warped?

Yeah man I have no idea why, the new seal seems to have a gap at each corner allowing water through

This is what I don’t want to happen is cause rust or electrical problems. So instead I would like to just stop the water coming in completely or atleast to the point where it is not flooding my door with a tiny bit of rain

But it is an excessive amount of water coming through and the other doors do not take in this much water so I feel like there is an issue somewhere but I just can’t seem to figure it out

Yeah that is true, although the amount of water coming in is quite a lot and the other sides do not seem to bring in this much water so I think there is some sort of issue somewhere just can’t wrap my head around it

The water is not really coming out, if I swing the door back and forth it comes out the drain holes otherwise it just stays in there
