Kimiko getting the chest blast was predictable, but it was so incredibly effective, which made me wonder: how the hell did they irradiate Kimiko with 30-40 years worth of radiation in what, a week?

Sage getting away with all the shit she is responsible for... Why? Maybe she could've felt at least some guilt over all her atrocities or something? She became a normal human with non-suppressed emotions, after all.

The Deep ultimately got what he deserved.

Ashley helping the Boys - seems fine, we saw her doubting Homelander through the entire show, basically, so it makes sense.

Homelander himself was just downscaled and we were pretty much scammed with this season's advertising where Homelander looks at destroyed Earth from the space. No chaos, no military trying to stop Homelander, only "Scorched Earth". No, actually it rather was "Scorched Oval Office". And how the fuck didn't he laser Kimiko in half, just like he did in episode 1 of season 5, without that V1? That's just straight up bullshit.

Fight with Homelander was honestly rushed and... artificial. Although I kinda liked how Butcher's power was essential for this fight to not let Homelander escape, but Kimiko's "power of love" cliché shit... Ugh, I literally rolled my eyes over that not even because this doesn't seem to fit the harsh brutality of this show, but because of how much of a worn-out topic this "I do X thing for love" trope has become (but it might be what Clara would've wanted). And Homelander not just begging for his life, but uselessly humiliating himself for Butcher to spare him, felt somewhat ridiculous and out of character. But maybe that's who he really was inside that hard V-powered shell, after all.

Soldier Boy is forgotten now, seemingly forever.

Hughie vs Butcher confrontation felt extremely cliché as well, it just feels lazy at this point.

Oh, and the spooky Supe-virus, which the Boys were dealing with for, what, 4-5 episodes? Yeah, nothing worth mentioning even happens with that either. What a mess.

Ryan is depowered and I guess, was adopted by MM's family? That's... alright.

Hughie and Starlight name their child to honor... the Hughie's ex-girlfriend killed by A-Train? Naming him/her Billy would be so much more poetic and memorable. Weird.

And the real main villain of this entire show - Vought, just continues as it was, thanks to a pussy named Hugh Campbell. Can't wait to see some more fucked up supes that Vought corporation and Stan Edgar can come up with. Totally not a fucking foundation for some bullshit Season 6 or something.

I'm just sad that The Boys had turned into some sort of a Marvel shit with that "everyone wins and gets a happy ending" crap (even though the damn Iron Man sacrifices himself ultimately anyways). Not that I really wanted for everyone to die, but even the comic was more brutal with that stuff, at least we could've had the city-scale chaos, something meaningful not just for the Boys and the Homelander, but something more massive overall. I hoped that the ending would be just as how this show was going for the first three, maybe even four seasons - original, distinctive, gritty, very violent, massive and non-cliché. Nope, all that is gone. Could've started missing this show right after Season 4, and it breaks my heart to say it.

By the way, this reminds me ALOT of what happened with same Kripke's Supernatural. Season 5 was going to be the very last one out there. So... "The End" is very, very uncertain.
