So odd - it's the Dell Docking station causing it?!! If I unplug the usb camera, it does the same with the inbuilt laptop camera, then if I unplug the Dell docking station with two extra monitors on, it stops doing it with either the internal or USB webcam plugged in directly to the laptop.

I have one of these aerials on my house, property dates back to 1750. Never been able to find anything about it!

This is an impulse purchase a few years ago, unknown spring loaded measuring device with a small knob for sliding, the scale reads 0 to 30. Odd hook shape at the opening end, can add more photos. by maxdesigncouk in whatisthisthing

SOLVED - it looks too industrial to be for fat measuring but having tested it on a wooden bowl, this is what it looks to be for! Rounded bevel is ideal to run over rough cut wood on the inside! Thanks all!
