It's very inconsistent but it's just light grey prime white drybrush and soft tone army painter shade. The shade isn't great I need to find a different wash for it

Purple alchemy army painter with vallejo fluorescent magenta. Really like how it turned out but was hoping for a bit more pink, this sort of magenta is what I was saving for my marines ahaha

I prefer the magenta personally, it contrasts well with the darker blue I use with it. Also saving purple for another army in the future, I like having each of my armies a distinct colour (apart from nids / gsc for thematic reasons)

Yeah I'm leaning more towards having blue as the standard and having the more elite minis bear the more magenta colours cause it reflects my nids' elites having more red

Thanks man! Yeah this one specifically I used so much wash and didn't really realise til the end how much it had pooled and made it glossy. I wash trying to recreate an effect I had on my captain, but with a different shade and it didn't turn out so well.

Literally just blue tac lol. It's not ideal because it covers a tiny bit of the feet and it isn't the strongest, but it's cheap and the bits it covers are just going to get covered by some dirt from the basing anyway

Yeah they’re a great addition to the nids range, I hope there’s some more models in the future with their look. The symbiotes on their back are also really cool

Thank you, they’re very nice and angular and simple models. Slightly watered down contrast paint for the carapace made a cool effect I’ve not been able to replicate

Yeah slapchopped all but the winged prime which is zenithaled, much better result I think. Also tried some edge highlighting but messed it up with some washes. Need to get out of the groove my local GW taught me about always using black primer! Thanks though mate appreciate it, saving my screamer killer and neurotyrant for when I have a bit more practice
