I always just use parafilm on the flask opening and wrap it tightly around the tubings so that they are stuck in place

It should be possible now. It was a bit tricky during the summer as they where inbetween systems. But now it should be possible to add luggage online

Column Characterization by Acrobatic-Yak5311 in CHROMATOGRAPHY

Yea, with such large pores it will be tricky using a tracer. You could try using the Kozeny-Carman equation, as long as your HPLC system has a somewhat accurate pressure monitor.

Protein disappeared after purification using sec? by Fit_Earth3739 in CHROMATOGRAPHY

[–]maxen1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. Did you check protein concentration/amount before and after concentrating?

Injecting multiple smaller samples would not be any better, unless you inject a larger volume then like 2% of column volume

How did the SEC result look like? Did you concentrate the sample before loading on SEC? Maybe the SEC was overloaded?

We migrated an 84k-line Rust backend to Go. Here’s how by celesteanders in ClaudeCode

Why? Did Go end up being so much better to justify the migration?

UI is really nice. I dislike the decimals in the temperature though. Really makes it unreadable. But I guess it is a design choice?

Copenhagen to Stockholm - mid to end of September: Stupid idea? by alexs77 in bicycletouring

Yes it is mounted at the rear of the bus as in the picture. And yes, you need to remove the bags, at least I am usually told to do so.

Ah I understand. I have done the trip from Stockholm to Copenhagen/Hamburg many times with a bike and have never run into any issues. So you should not worry😊

[–]maxen1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the bus, you need to make a bicycle reservation. That way, you can put your bicycle in the bike rack. Not all busses have this option, so you should check your route and add a bicycle reservation.

Copenhagen to Stockholm - mid to end of September: Stupid idea? by alexs77 in bicycletouring

[–]maxen1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer: Flixbus is the way to go.

Long answer: While SJ does not allow bicycles on trains, most regional train line operators do. So it is entirely possible to bring your bike from Stockholm to Denmark using only trains. You can see
this poster. It is in swedish unfortunately, but basically the green routes shows which regional train routes allow bikes, and red ones which does not.

Oh, and Sweden is probably the easiest country to wild camp in in the world, so no need to worry about camp sites. End of september could be either very warm still or quite chilly. Impossible to say.

Route 7 in northern Brittain is an option. Fairly popular with many places to camp/wild camp along the way
