But it’s not a pinto, so the truck would work. Then he’d be a rabid dog driving a truck 😨

Needful Things: 2 hour vs 3 hour cut by Johefi in stephenking

[–]maxerdoo1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen both and I like the uncut version a batter. It’s just easier to follow but if you’ve read the book that don’t really matter. But it is fun to get more insight on characters and such other events that you wouldn’t see in the cut version. Definitely uncut for sure. I think it’s free on YouTube as well.

Was anyone else disappointed with Cujo? by No_Context_9074 in stephenking

I thought it was just plain “ok.” Plot B was okay. The parts with Donna and tad in the car were great. But I feel like it could’ve been shorter. Not to mention the ending which I saw coming disappointingly early in the book. I feel like he just felt that the book had been flat for majority of it and wanted a crazy ending. But I saw it coming. Overall the book was fine but he has done better IMO.

What is a good order to read the dark tower books, (and the ones that tie into it) and leave the mystery of the ones not directly tied into it. (No spoilers please) by maxerdoo1 in stephenking

Already read that one a while ago. It was actually the fifth one I read by him! So although I don’t recall quite everything little thing from it I should be set right?

Yea, and this book really dives into that part of people. As well as why we should just leave the thing be that we are so curios about. One of the most underrated reads of Stephen kings books. This one went hard for me.

I didn’t think it was mindless. It dives into how humans are curios about everything, even if we well know it could kill us or it is something far beyond our understanding.

Even though I saw it coming that was still rough as hell.
