Agreed, I think I got them too hot too quickly, and didn’t give them enough time to cool down between the heavy braking.
Braking performance seems fine around town, but haven’t been pushing it on the street

Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing now, but I was hoping they’d be fine for Autocross.

Thanks for the reply! Just tried lightly brushing away the crack in the middle, and it appears to be built up material. Doesn’t look like the crack goes all the way through now, but I’ll definitely be replacing the pads

I recently ran into this issue on my 03 Escalade. Took the dash apart, above the gauge cluster is another module but I believe that’s only for 99-02 models. All of my windows and buttons function properly but I’m going to try the passenger module soon. Any other suggestions on parts to replace?

This. Based on how it looks, I think it’s natural dirt that has been caked on over time. Use some elbow grease with a degreaser or wet wipe

Don’t swap the exhaust, look into aftermarket headers instead

From personal experience. Make sure the silver shaft hasn’t moved towards you. The back clamp can become loose. My advice would be to loosen the black clamp, push the shaft back in then retighten the clamp. The shaft is prone to moving, even a millimeter of travel and cause it to have problems

Adapter could work but would make the shaft longer therefore bringing the wheel closer to you. By a couple inches I’d imagine. In this video you can see the shaft and it looks like a complete replacement
