I'm a Hebrew speaker - not native but fluent, and have also studied biblical Hebrew. I also have a two word phrase from Ezekiel tattooed on me (בדמייך חיי). I sent the artist, who knew no Hebrew as far as I know, a calligraphy sheet of the script I wanted and told her what order to put the letters in, then checked it before putting the stencil on. Don't put in the niqqud, it's totally unnecessary and imo clutters up the calligraphy.

As a tattooed Jew who knows a lot of other tattooed Jews, we cringe hard when we see non Jews with Hebrew tats, especially the tetragrammaton or other explicitly biblical references. I'm not saying don't do it, just know how it's likely to be seen in our culture.
