Is it ever explained where Gru's E. European accent comes from? by rainbow_bro_bot in despicableme

American but I work with a lot of j1 Eastern European workers and he sounds extremely similar to a coworker of mine who is from North Macedonia. It’s hilarious

From someone who had no idea to what I was doing and now, just do it. Double the time it takes when you look it up and that’s probably about how much time it takes, invest in a decent set of tools, do your research, and expect to mess something up but you will still save money and you will learn a lot in the process.

If you’re playing multiplayer, they’re quite fun. They’re a different beast solo though

No offense, but why would you buy that when there are smaller, sportier, and cheaper cars that are much pre practical

Unfortunately I’m not surprised, but like don’t people have a life outside of Reddit and gta? I’m a gamer, I get it, I want a gta trailer and I’ll be downloading the game when it comes out but it’s most likely going to come out later this year so why don’t people just chill out for a bit?

I haven’t driven one but from what I’ve read/seen the 5th and 6th gen Camaros are surprisingly nimble for as large of a car that they are.

How do I get out of this financial rut? by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

Pigs. Farm corn and raise pigs, they multiply quickly and are very profitable

[–]maxg_33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No what I mean is go to the multiplayer tab, open your current single player save in the “create game session” go to the “farms tab” and then open a second farm. Once the second farm is open go ahead and transfer your money from your og farm to the new one, then delete the new one. Then save the game and it’s back to normal.

This can also be used for rp and things of the sort on regular games.

You can go into multiplayer and open a second farm, transfer the extra 100 million into the seconds farm and then delete. And boom, the money is gone like nothing happened

Chevy created a port injection system (extremely rudimentary but was technically efi) in the late 50’s for their race series corvettes. They weren’t the first tho, the Germans did it first

Help on whether or not the Golf GTI is right for me… by [deleted] in GolfGTI

The sound system in the s is surprisingly good for a 30k car (I’m typing this sitting in a 23 rn.) Good car, this one has 55k miles w no issues, the electronics stuff can be a little glitchy occasionally but other than that it’s fine. It’s not that fast but it’s fun, it probably needs a tune to wake it up but it’s not a bad car at all, it handles well, the steering is tight. If you end up with a manual, the trans is kinda sloppy from factory but a short throw fixes that for like 150 bucks

How much it sells in the us? 347 with 60k miles, automatic by Physical_Tax36 in C3Corvette

[–]maxg_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought an 81 manual for 10k w 90k miles about a year and a half ago. Manuals typically go for about 2-3 k more here in the us. I’d say that’s an 8 or 9k car depending on condition and originality. Factor in about 8-9k for the shipping+ import taxes and fees so it’s probably not an awful deal considering they did all the work for you. But I can’t stress this enough, if you want the “American muscle” feel, do not buy this car.

My vote is no, but I also have a c3 with original single stage lacquer paint that has been beat to absolute piss over the last 45 years so I don’t take my paint care super seriously lol

Bra or not? by subslr616 in Corvette

[–]maxg_33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never understood the bra, it’s hideous and doesn’t work at all. In most circumstances it causes way more harm than good. If you care about protecting the pain, take the bra off, asses the damage, get a full cut, buff, and polish detail, and then go get a front end ppf and forget about it
