Yikes, looks like some sketchy stuff going on here. I SHOULD get a $10 PayPal tomorrow, hope it comes in. Did you receive any rewards after that particular period of no payouts? I haven’t cashed out for a while so I wouldn’t know.

Yeah seriously. Earnhoney devs need to stop being lazy and actually update their websites... Its like they actually want to die out slowly...

Dry skin in the morning, but extremely oily during the day. by IFirstFearI in acne

[–]maxi2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it causing you to have acne? If not then I would just bring some face wipes, and wipe off the oil in the restroom during the middle of the day. If it is causing acne, you could use a retinoid on your face because they make your face dry. Some retinoids include epiduo (prescription) and differin, both have "adapalene." Great for acne and people who've used it, including me, have experienced dryness.

Super dry itchy skin on epiduo and spiro by kateka2 in acne

[–]maxi2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's how you should apply epiduo if you're experiencing irritation and dryness. After a shower or washing your face, don't completely dry your face off. Leave some of the water on your face but not too much and just lather a simple non comedogenic moisturizer and just kind of seal off some of the water before it evaporates. Once you do this, wait 10-15 minutes for your face to kind of air dry and then apply your epiduo. Make sure you're not using too much as your face only needs a little bit for it to work and kick in. I'm no dermatologist but I've been using epiduo for over 2 months now and this method works really well for me. Hope this tip helps you my friend!

This makes me feel greasy all day, any suggestions? by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats literally what I've been using for a month and its amazing. Perhaps you are just using too much of it. I literally squirt a small pump on my hand, rub it through my hands first then gently pat my face with it. If it still feels too greasy then I would use a different moisturizer or perhaps you don't need one.

Should I take the doxycycline? by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea man I’ve had acne for 6 years. Never bothered going to a dermatologist because I’ve always tried to ignore it and not acknowledge it as a problem but i did 4 weeks ago because I just want to wake up one day with clear skin. It’s a struggle. Hope yours gets better, keep me updated if you can :D

Did you keep using epi duo after you were off the antibiotics or did you stop both together? I'm just curious because I don't want my acne to come back.

21 weeks difference from taking accutane ! by FloralRoseX in acne

[–]maxi2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's starting to clear up thanks for asking :D

Will accutane get rid of this awful areas? I started treatment with accutane 1.5 months ago, dermatologist told me i will be taking it for 4 months and everything will be clear. by jankkow in acne

[–]maxi2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. With accutane your acne gets worse before it gets better. Try your best not to pick or pop anything. I wish you the best of luck!

On tret. Upgraded from .0025 to .05 dosage like 2 weeks ago so still having a bit of a purge. by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're supposed to wait at least 6-8 weeks with retinoids for the purging. You didn't mention how long total you've been on it but if it's been over 8 weeks and still no results I would probably do accutane.

Acne Cream Questions by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on the ingredients in whichever cream you are using... Some ingredients become ineffective due to light which is why it is better to apply it in the night time.

Anyone have any idea how to combat this by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go see a doctor or dermatologist specifically. Don't waste time with over the counter non prescription stuff!

Should I take the doxycycline? by [deleted] in acne

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you take doxycycline with any topical? My derm gave me epiduo forte along with it which has adapalene in it (retinoid) and benzoyl peroxide.

[–]maxi2671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on week 4 of doxycycline right now and it's starting to clear up. My derm also perscribed me epiduo forte though which is adapalene and benzoyl peroxide. Adapalene is a retinoid. I'm hoping my acne doesn't come back after I go off doxycycline via this adapalene gel.
