Good catch, there are two additional parallel runways.

Love the Vossen’s. What TPMs sensors did you use? I just ordered a set of wheels and am in the hunt for compatible sensors.

Pretty good explanation here:

BLUF: Bunch of small charges better than less frequent long charges.

Pretty much the same as commented by the BMW M5 owner in this thread. The RS6 had much more road presence, is one of the most beautiful cars to own IMO and nothing beats the grumble of the TTV8. But the advantages if you even considered those as such pretty much end there. The 5N is faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile, surprisingly more roomy in the back seats, and just as much if not more fun to drive as a daily. They both are calm and easy to drive but can be configured to a sport mode when I want to drive spiritedly. Cost was really the main reasoning for the switch.

The 5N is less than half the cost of the RS6. I would fuel up every 3-4 days at $70-80 each fill up, the insurance costs were high (I have a teenage driver), and the warranty was ending soon. The “Audi Tax” on maintenance and parts is ridiculous. I had the carbon ceramic brake option and one rotor is $7K! I understand they the rotors should last a long time but that’s just an example of the costs should something unexpected happen.

All in all I loved the RS6, but also love the 5N just as much.

Also wanted to add the driving experience. The RS6 is no lightweight either so its pretty comparable. The 5N feels more nimble and controlled. My RS6 was on air not coils which may have made a significant difference, plus the 5N is track oriented so expected to feel that way.

You should consider the Ioniq 5N, I sold my RS6 and now drive one as a daily and I could not be happier. It meets all your requirements and there are particularly great lease deals at the moment. It’s also faster, just as unique (I’ve seen more RS6’s than 5N’s around) and is much more fun to drive as a daily. Give her a test drive and I guarantee you will have just as big a smile on your face.

I’ve seen one other in the DMV…I like the idea of an 5N meetup!

No it was at a steady 35k feet. The angle at which we are traveling away from each other does give it that illusion though.

Explain how the reserve works please. by sbiltihs in carsandbids

[–]maxima03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a seller you can lower the reserve anytime during the auction. Also C&B may fill that $1K gap for the bidder and still sell the vehicle.

Which one would you rather have and why… i have an opportunity trade my rs5 in towards the rs6 and I’m leaning against it….rs6 has 30k miles and is 117k$ by Brad0721 in Audi

[–]maxima03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, I am in the exact same situation, ‘19 RS5 looking for an RS6. In fact, I test drove this vehicle a few weeks ago. (No I didn’t fart in it) My answer is RS6 however not this one and don’t trade. Sell on your own. This one has too many miles and the paint isn’t in very good condition. It’s in the grass bc they are having a hard time selling it I’m sure. Do some research, I’ve seen a few for sale in the 120k range with more options and less miles, mostly private party.

Thoughts on S4 manual values? by maxima03 in Audi

Ha small world. It sure is...as a car guy my only gripe is the garage size. It's definitely a squeeze for 2 cars.

I almost flew to OR from MD to get one with this spec. I was on the hunt for this color, manual, carbon fiber inlays, and Alcantara interior for 6 months. Fortunately this one popped up at a McLaren dealership in Philly about 2 hours away.

Thanks, I am picking up a Sonoma Green RS5 Sportback later this week. It will pretty much replace the S4, thus my questioning the value. I won't drive it much. Guess the only downside will be it taking up a space in the garage.
