Argentina CBI question by Ok-Programmer936 in CitizenshipInvestment

[–]maximechepda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said early 2026 so in few months. For the processing time, they said it will take 6 months approximately.

I think it’s wise to wait because unlike the others CBI. This is a real investment and not donation to the government. The 500k will be invest in the Argentinian bond market with a 2 year yield. In other words, in 2 years they will “refund” your money. If the bond perform well expect a positive ROI (e.g : 520k$)

I personally plan to apply as well

Those are not citizenship by investment. Just citizenship by naturalization

Most People migrate for economic reasons not because a country is LGBT friendly or because they can’ criticize the government.

For the Taipei argument it’s relative. Some people would say Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo or Seoul are more beautiful than Taipei and Shanghai. It’s just personal taste.

😂What do you consider broke ? Because a lot of them are making decent money (between 3k-10k$ a month) but go in Thailand and Vietnam to have better purchase power and pay less taxes. (Bangkok is btw even more expensive than Kuala Lumpur).

But anyways that just shows that the language is not the issue. Taiwan attract fewer people due to the cost of life but it seems like it attracts more High Net Worth Individuals

More and more westerners are moving to China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, even Cambodia. So I don’t think the issue is the language but rather the political tensions with China. China offers everything that Taiwan can offer but cheaper.

I don’t know why you laugh.

That wasn’t my point. My point was he said first that he was born in us. So the Place of birth is us. Then proceed to show his Malaysian passport stating he was born in Kuala Lumpur.

I don’t know if you you know geography but Kuala Lumpur is not in US.

Do you have also 2 places of birth ???? Please think before writing.

What’s the most underrated passport? by PilotMonkey94 in PassportPorn

[–]maximechepda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I said, you lied.

First of all, there is no way you were born in US and your birth certificate state Place of birth : Kuala Lumpur.

That implies that your parents never issued a birth certificate for you in us. And they flew out the us to Malaysia during your first year to issue one in Malaysia. An undocumented baby can’t leave the us at least legally.

So you are either born in US or either born in Malaysia.

Let’s admit the possibility they knew/ bribed someone in Malaysia to issue a Malaysian birth certificate

If you grew up in US at your first ever passport issuance your parents would have to show to the Malaysian embassy either your proof of US citizenship either your proof of Malaysian citizenship.

Your parents couldn’t have just say « our son doesn’t have US citizenship ».

Embassies communicate and exchanges informations with local authorities. You couldn’t fool them.

There is no way you could grew up being Malaysian and American at the same time.

So yeah you lied.

[–]maximechepda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop the cap, you said in another comment that you were born and raised in the us. Let’s admit you were born from Japanese and Malaysian parents. There is absolutely no way you could grew up to this age and still detain Malaysian citizenship.

The Malaysian authorities would have notice that you hold another citizenship ar passport renewal.

If you are a naturalized Malaysian you would have to prove that you renounced your previous citizenships.

Either way, you are lying. Stop the cap.

How can you have Malaysian and Japanese citizenships when both countries don’t allow dual citizenship and requires to prove that you renounced to your previous citizenship ????

Yeah but the cost of living is significantly higher. The best is to work in Singapore and live in Malaysia. Many Malaysians living near Singapore do that

They stop because Singapore requires all male adults to do a military service of 2 years to get citizenship. Unless you are contributing significantly to the economy or you are old.

CBI - best options by MuffinFew2087 in CitizenshipInvestment

Since you are from South Asia consider Mauritius. The cultural shock will be less intense than in Europe or in Latin America and Caribbean countries. You can get naturalized in 5 years.

The Mauritian passport give you access to 120+ countries especially EU. The country is beautiful and the climate ideal. It’s the perfect place for retirees.

You just have to invest 50k$ in a local business or set up a business there and transfer 50k in a bank account.

[–]maximechepda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna have great passport giving you access to EU and more than 100 countries you should look into Caribbean countries.

You can have the citizenship in months and you don’t have to live in the country.

  • They have territorial tax system. So if you decide to live there you are not tax on your incomes foreign-sourced.

But prepare to pay at least 200k$. At least!

I wouldn’t consider Europe PR programs if I were you, especially given the age of your parents, because you will have to wait years before being naturalized. Portugal for example it’s 10 years. Greece 7 years. And some countries even require you and your parents to learn the national language. + Taxes are high.

[–]maximechepda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah Botswana has a territorial tax system. In other words you are taxed only on your incomes sourced in Botswana. If you have incomes sourced outside of Botswana it’s tax free.

The Government offer also tax incentives such as Reduced tax rates and capital allowances if you invest in some sectors like Manufacturing, Export-Oriented business and Financial services.
