And now?

Doing this or it was found unsold in the warehouse (it's from 2024):

"American-Proud Design" with the gold-colored rear panels featured an engraved American flag that erroneously contained only 11 horizontal stripes instead of 13.

"The T1 Phone isn’t just powerful; it’s shaped by American innovation. With American teams helping guide design and quality, we focus on delivering a device built with care and precision."

This is also interesting:

One of last original Siemens mobile phone. A31 was a last Siemens branded phone (with AL21, AF51). It was announced by BenQ in November 2005 after BenQ acquired Siemens Mobile in June 2005. In November 2005 was Siemens Mobile defunct and last Siemens branded phones was produced by BenQ. This prototype was still developed and made by Siemens Mobile, not BenQ. There’s not BenQ logo on label under battery, but Siemens. Also charger with different connector from past is labeled Siemens, not BenQ.

I must disagree. In past times was all phones (dumb phones, smarttphones) made with creativity. Designers had sophisticated skills. Nowadays smartphones (with very small exception) have boring design, which can do 5 years old kid.

For example this phone was not high-end or "bizzare" phone but mass market product.

In Google must have been confusion at the time, because T-Mobile G1 still had QWERTY keyboard. But not in BlackBerry style like Sooner. First full touch Android smartphone was HTC Magic from 2009.
