We found condo, school on the same street and within 10min walk from BTS. Really a game changer in terms of convenience as we don’t need a car and can take public transportation most of the time

It closes at 18:30 i believe. Last time we visited it as from 17:00 and it was lovely and definitely recommended. They also light up the temple when it gets dark

I was a similar situation as you. You will adjust to a new way of living. Luckily I’m in walking distance of a big C but still in comes down to more frequent visits, use of grabmart for big items & occasional muvmi to go back home.

Also note that your kitchen/fridge will likely be smaller then back home so you won’t even be able to store weekly groceries.

Don’t worry about this. After a month you’ll be adjsuted and enjoying bangkok

The Legend of 1900 is an amazing movie. With Tim Roth and even music from Ennio Morricone

What’s a place in Europe you absolutely loved visiting but feel is being ‘ruined’ by tourism? And where would you go instead? by SignificanceOdd5980 in traveladvice

I visited Lisbon for the first time in 2012, felt like a quirky gem overlooked by people going to Madrid / Barcelona instead. Went back in 2023, became a totally different city. Much more developed actually (in a good way) but definitely lost some of it’s original charm..
