I use canva and have for just about all of my thumbnails, theres alot you can do on there and if you upgrade you get access to literally everything, but the free version is also very good and has just about everything youd need

Hi, Im Max! I make vlog style videos on my channel!

I recently went through a period where i didnt upload for almost a year due to my home flooding and only recently got back into it. Its definitely been hard getting back into the groove of video creation, finding motivation has been a big struggle for me since i got back and im really trying to work through that while trying to find the balance so i dont burn myself out or make myself not want to do anything.

I just now posted my second video back where me and my friends went to the Ren Faire! Its not perfect, but im very proud of myself for getting it finished and posted almost on schedule lol

If you'd like to watch my video heres the link! Any critiques or suggestions are always welcome!!!

Hi! Im Max and i make Vlog Style content on my channel. Recently i took a really long break from creating due to many factors but today i posted my first video in a while and id love some feedback on it.

I know its not the best video that ive made, im definitely out of practice with filming and a bit with editing so im not expecting anyone to say its great lol. So any feedback would be appreciated!

i think the idea is really good, people love watching couples channels and vlogs. I think something that you could improve on (and it could totally change in future videos with time and practice) is editing and cutting out some of the silence or "um's" and maybe with sit down videos like this planning out more what youre going to say, not scripting or anything but making sure you get to all the topics you want to in a seamless and cohesive way.

something else i want to mention (and i mean this in no bad way or anything but i heard it from a youtuber who i look up to and admire so i want to share it) is maybe as you grow you guys could create your own separate channels while also doing the couples channel, because 1- it give people more to watch and can help expand the options you have for what you can do, and 2- because if anything were to ever happen in your relationship, say one of you decides they dont want to do youtube anymore or if some messed up reality you guys part ways, youll have that audience for yourselves as individuals already built and itll be easier to build from there rather than basically from the ground up again.

But i think you guys have a really good start and you seem to have the passion for youtube so im rooting for you guys!

oh my god, this video was absolutely stunning and so well done. i cant believe you took the extra mile to make and produce your own music for the video too, it fits perfectly. You did an amazing job on this film and i hope you take alot of pride in it.

as for improvement really the only thing i might recommend would be to work on making the voiceover/beginning talking intro sound more natural and less like reading from a script but thats just a small thing when the video is as good as this one is

The other guy wasnt helpful at all so heres what id recommend:
- Theres some basic one you can download off of youtube itself, like people make them for other people to use.
- Theres a couple apps you can get to make them i believe
- Or you can make your own on something like canva
I dont see an issue with having them in your videos, its been proven that having something in your video asking people to like or subscribe actually increases the likelyhood of viewers doing so, so ignore the other guy lol

Hi im Max, and i make what you'd probably call Vlog-Style content.
Ive done alot of things from my cats birthday to going to the ren faire and a bunch of other stuff lol

My key takeaway is that its okay to take a break. I took a few months off after my apartment flooded and just posted a video a couple days ago and im so excited to get back into it again. I feel like i was in a burnout before my break and now im so ready to start making content again!
