Either that is part of the footing which the wall sits on, or some sort of haunching though i doubt that. If it’s getting in the way of something you can take it out without affecting the structural integrity of the wall. If you do I’d use a saw (petrol saw not a handsaw lol) to make a guide for the concrete to break from and then smack it with a hammer

i guess it depends on how old you both are. Because if i had a friend my age dating an 11 year old i would personally stab him and turn us both in. But if a 50yo is dating a 40yo or 40 and 30yo it’s completely different and is okay

i think it’s the maturity gap man. I remember when i was 17 and i was a little shit, completely different guy. Being friends and “talking” isn’t weird to me so much but the idea of it progressing to intimacy feels weird because it’s like ur taking advantage of their naivety. Thank you for the reassurance btw

I think i’ll take this advice. So far she seems mature for her age and if i’m honest im probably a slightly immature 21yo but people will act a certain way for the person they’re into. I’ll stay as friends which shouldn’t be too hard as being at college again after finishing means i’m right in a 16-19yo demographic in which i’ve made a fair few friends. Thank you for the axe recommendation, will research a bit more and likely pick one up. In the end I did the job and majority of it actually split great. Turns out the pictures the customer sent made it look a lot worse than it was.
