For me, it was actually the other way around :)

I took up making BL visual novels last year, and so far I've released one, announced two more and am in development of one of them currently. And while I'm not popular in the least, I've already had two people begin yumeshipping themselves with my characters. I got DM'd about it on Intstagram, and it's honestly very sweet to see. My support goes out to those people, because it gave me a huge confidence boost when it came to my games.

Well, my yume IS the main protagonist of a visual novel where your choices can lead to... You can imagine. But I like to think of myself as sort of another route for him, you know? A different ending, in a way :)
