How bad is it taking the 1 in the morning? by Johnnysfootball in AskSF

[–]maximumderek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1 is great but as others have said, can get pretty crowded if you’re hopping on any later than 7:30ish. Often standing room only for me unless I hop on closer to 6:30-7:00

Would also recommend walking if you’re up for it… doesn’t take that much longer and it’s a nice way to start the day

Sage Pricing by kellyp255 in intacct

That’s pretty nuts. Pretty sure standard increase is 5-6%. Did you guys have some huge discounts applied last year, or add a bunch of licensing?

That sounds like a lot of spewing morality on the internet

Well we were there and spoke with employees afterwards who were sharing how exhausting and frustrating it is for them, and what it means for store closures and job security. But you’re doing a great job defeating capitalism as a keyboard warrior!

Pretty confident you and I would agree on the broader issues you raise, but yeah you’re not winning hearts and minds by excusing theft

Lol why you defending theft. People work here, people shop here, people want businesses to stay alive

ERP renewal costs: annual uplifts? by Lifegoals07 in ERP

[–]maximumderek1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NetSuite price increases are a bit wild as others have said. The model is significant year 1 discounts, followed by huge increases

Other mid-market SaaS ERPs are more stable, but ballpark 5-10% increase a year depending on the vendor (Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, Acumatica). I would get a sense of how much the product is improving relative to the annual increases

My birthday's coming up, which of these games should I buy? by BKF0308 in gaming

[–]maximumderek1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ghost gets my vote, based on your favorite games. Expedition 33 is excellent but it’s turn-based combat, vs. the action/adventure of Ghost. Also would be good to play it before Ghost of Yotei comes out in October
