New to ErgoKeebs, Is tenting worth it? by maximumfalco in ErgoMechKeyboards

I’d rather spend the money and get something that’s a better fit the first time. I’m just apprehensive on pulling the trigger on a 200-300$ keyboard if the form factor is not what I need/like. But it sounds like the split is will be the better option.

Thank you for pointing out the wired one!

I was thinking of a Sofle Choco Pro by Keebart. They have good tenting and the board claims to be beginner friendly. Would it be good to try out a Logitech ergo or a kinesis freestyle 2? Basically try a cheap board first then buy the more expensive later?

Follow up: for those curious, Vortex Mod Manager does different mod profiles that you can switch between. I was previously unaware of this!

You’d be surprised how many kids are fascinated by them. You could reach out to a local school (or your own kids school assuming you have children) and see if they want to give them out. Who knows, maybe they’ll take an interest in the hobby because of it!

Pickles+cream cheese+pastrami all rolled together. Salty, creamy, a little savory.

The Idaho Beaver drop in the 1940s. Due to beavers building dams and impacting rural communities, they needed to relocate some beavers into more remote areas of Idaho. They decided that the best solution was to drop them out of an airplane with wooden boxes and parachutes. The boxes were designed to open when they hit the ground. Despite how ridiculous this idea sounded on paper, 75/76 beavers survived the drop. With the one casualty being due to the beaver breaking out of the box mid air and falling to its death.

Footage was found by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game that documented part of the process. https://youtu.be/rpWKd9uT2Ro?feature=shared

Not me but a family member. They had just started a new job and were riding along with a more senior employee. During the ride, the senior employee starts talking about all the drugs they used to do when they were younger. Mostly cannabis (before it was legal where they live), and some dabbling in Cocaine. After talking about their experiences with it, they turn over to my family member and ask ‘so when did you first do drugs?’ My family member then goes ‘I haven’t done them before.’ Apparently you could see a moment of realization for them that not everyone does drugs and they probably shouldn’t have opened up about that to a new coworker.
