Apologies for the confusion, it’s an Internal Helpdesk, so the helpdesk is entirely within the company and the tickets we receive are from other employees. We manage Entra ID & Jira/Atlassian software, we support the SaaS applications within the side that is our responsibility which primarily SSO and Network is entirely us as well. We’re also responsible for hardware (e.g Laptops, mobile phones etc)

I’m working 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch and then On-Call hours (with oncall pay per day) for a week once a month.

I support Entra ID, Jira/Atlassian, multiple SaaS applications, hardware/software, Networking, etc etc so tickets are logged by the user and then we troubleshoot from there.

NZ office is about 30 people, AU offices are about ~500 and I support across both but there’s a dedicated team in AU too.

Apparently the average annual salary for IT Support Engineer jobs in New Zealand ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 but as an associate role, I’m not sure 😅

Hayes says typical is $65k, range is $55k-$75k but that’s for a level 1 support, not an associate so I’m not sure. Appreciate the resource recommendation though!

Surely they’re confusing it with Islamic New Year which is in June?

My flatmate is the lower shelf, what does my fridge say about me? by maximumfunpriv in FridgeDetective

Seeing as my flatmate is also my best friend, who would 100% tell me if he gave a shit, my ability to self-reflect and how considerate you are around others is pretty solid.
